Ohio BMV Reopens

The Bureau of Motor Vehicles in Centerville on West Spring Valley Pike will reopen to the public on Tuesday, May 26. The BMV will have extended hours to accommodate the backlog of clients and orders.

Monday – Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

The Ohio BMV says it is experiencing a high volume of orders and wait times will likely be longer than normal. Most services offered by the BMV can be completed online at, including license plate renewals.

Please remember: because of the State of Emergency, expired driver’s licenses are still valid until either 90 days after the declared emergency ends or December 1, 2020, whichever comes sooner.
